Knowledge and Experience: A great driving instructor will have a thorough knowledge of the rules of the road, as well as many years of experience behind the wheel. I will be able to pass on my knowledge to my students, helping them to become confident, safe drivers.
Flexibility: A good driving instructor will be flexible with their schedule, and will make sure they are available at times that are convenient for their students.
Ability to Adapt to Different Learning Styles: Everyone learns differently, and a good driving instructor will be able to adapt to the learning style of each individual student. I will be able to tailor your lessons to suit your needs, helping you to learn more effectively.
Positive Attitude: A positive attitude is essential for a driving instructor. A great instructor will be enthusiastic and encouraging, helping their students to feel confident and motivated.
Good Communication Skills: Good communication skills are essential for a driving instructor. They need to be able to explain things clearly and concisely, and be able to listen to their students, responding to their questions and concerns.

First of all, Phil is just a wonderful person who genuinely cares about his learners!
As a nervous person he made me feel extremely comfortable and safe and continued to do that throughout all of my lessons.
Phil is the best driving instructor - he was patient with me and gave me a personal detailed emailed review after every lesson so I knew what I needed to work on.
I managed to pass my Theory Test and my Practical Test 1st time and that was all down to Phil!! Thank you!!
I’ll be forever grateful for my lessons with you Phil. I’ll miss you heaps but not your RUBBISH jokes 🙂

I started learning with Phil after about 2 years of learning to drive. Due to covid and moving away I took a long break from learning, but came back to learn with the very best. Phil is not only a great instructor, but such a lovely guy - will miss the dad jokes!! He explains everything so clearly, he’s extremely motivating and has taught me how to drive safely. I actually really looked forward to my driving lessons which was a new feeling for me! I’ve gone through so many test cancellations through lockdown and two fails in the past. I really need to be able to drive for my work, and have spent nearly a year having to restrict my work and rely on others to help me get around - I feel like I have so much freedom now. To pass with no driver faults was something I didn’t think I would be able to achieve, and I definitely wouldn´t have without all the help from Phil. I will miss our lessons so much, but I am sure we will stay in touch 🙂
