Huge congratulations go to Holly on passing her driving test today in Buxton and with only 2 driver faults.
This pass is dedicated to Paul Stubbs, one of our local instructors who sadly passed away from covid in January.
Holly was learning with Paul and got in touch after his passing, and we managed to sort out some driving lessons to keep her ticking over till test.
This one´s for you Paul, RIP 😔

"So I first met Phil because my friend recommended him to me as I was looking for a new instructor and he basically turned into my life mentor as-well as my driving instructor. I’d been learning with him for a really long time due to covid and everything and I’m so glad I had the support he gave me. He adapted his teaching to how I learn and it made me realise if you have the right teacher, you will do your best. It’s been a very long journey but I wouldn’t change it at all and he has helped me gain my freedom! I will never forget the bad jokes, random emergency stop words, accidentally breaking his mirror and naming my car “corona the corsa”. All the different learning techniques and practice really helped me gain the confidence I needed and I’m so grateful for everything! Thank you Phil! can’t wait for the catch-ups in the future not quite getting rid of me yet 😂

“Well where to start… Phil has been an absolutely amazing driving instructor! Recommended by my boyfriend and his sister, who both passed first time with Phil, I am so lucky to have been able to have Phil help me pass both my theory and driving tests first time!!
Learning together since October 2019 it has been quite a journey with 4 cancelled tests, but through it all Phil has been positive, reassuring and kind both in and out of lessons.
