So you want to learn how to drive? So what do you look for when choosing a driving Instructor?

These are some of the qualities that make my driving school one of the top rated driving schools in the area. By combining patience, knowledge, experience, flexibility, adaptability, a positive attitude, and good communication skills, I can provide my students with an exceptional learning experience.

Patience and Understanding: Being patient and understanding towards each student is crucial. A good driving instructor will make sure their students feel comfortable, and will take the time to explain things clearly.

Knowledge and Experience: A great driving instructor will have a thorough knowledge of the rules of the road, as well as many years of experience behind the wheel. I will be able to pass on my knowledge to my students, helping them to become confident, safe drivers.

Flexibility: A good driving instructor will be flexible with their schedule, and will make sure they are available at times that are convenient for their students.

Ability to Adapt to Different Learning Styles: Everyone learns differently, and a good driving instructor will be able to adapt to the learning style of each individual student. I will be able to tailor your lessons to suit your needs, helping you to learn more effectively.

Positive Attitude: A positive attitude is essential for a driving instructor. A great instructor will be enthusiastic and encouraging, helping their students to feel confident and motivated.

Good Communication Skills: Good communication skills are essential for a driving instructor. They need to be able to explain things clearly and concisely, and be able to listen to their students, responding to their questions and concerns.

AMY C

Having waited until turning 30 to think about getting a driving licence, Phil dragged me kicking and screaming to a pass! I don´t think I could have picked a more stressful point in my life to decide to learn to drive but I´m so glad I picked Phil to teach me. He was patient when I´d been up all night with a poorly toddler, went out of his way to accommodate me around work and training, offering lots of time slots as options, and really made sure I understood everything I was doing and why.

Each lesson you build from solid foundations and despite having to endure a barrage of truly terrible jokes, creating a thorough understanding of the whole process makes you confident in your own abilities. Phil doesn´t make you feel like you´re in trouble if you don´t get something straight away, he takes time to make sure you do. His diagrams during the lessons and follow up emails are brilliant to help you pass your theory test and onto the practical. You never learn something for the sake of it, in order to pass, you learn to drive.

I´ll miss the lessons and the friendship we built and could not recommend Phil more to anyone wanting to learn, regardless of age, confidence or ability.
