Ability to Adapt to Different Learning Styles: Everyone learns differently, and a good driving instructor will be able to adapt to the learning style of each individual student. I will be able to tailor your lessons to suit your needs, helping you to learn more effectively.
Positive Attitude: A positive attitude is essential for a driving instructor. A great instructor will be enthusiastic and encouraging, helping their students to feel confident and motivated.
Good Communication Skills: Good communication skills are essential for a driving instructor. They need to be able to explain things clearly and concisely, and be able to listen to their students, responding to their questions and concerns.

"Phil was an absolutely ace teacher all the way through. My mum found him while trying to get me a driving teacher, and he turned out to be the exact style of teacher that helped me best with GCSEs and A-Levels. He´s kind and works well with me as a student, always has a great joke when I get in the car, and he was flexible with times no suite my schedule. Although I didn´t do my test in Phil´s car, I passed with all the tips and tricks he provided and would highly recommend him to any students in the area looking for a teacher."

I would just like to say a huge thank you to Phil who has been the best driving instructor for the past few months. I’ve tried a few driving instructor’s in my time learning, and it’s fair to say Phil was the best driving instructor by far.
Something that I found really helpful that nobody else did was that Phil took the time to email me feedback after every lesson, which was good because I could look back at his notes and it helped me remember.
For someone who had really bad nerves on test day, I honestly thought the day I passed my test was never going to come. Thanks to all of Phil’s hard work and patience, especially having to constantly explain things that I had asked a million times already, I passed!
Although I’m happy I passed, I’m sad I won’t be putting the world to rights weekly with Phil.

After learning to drive for a couple of years else where and through covid, I had not much confidence and was very nervous when I first started with Phil, fast forward a year and I’ve passed my test with only a few minors and my confidence in driving has grown so much with the help of Phil.
I would recommend him as a driving instructor because every time the nerves got to me on a test he’d reassure me and come up with ways to help calm the nerves and he would always email & give updates after each lesson on what to focus on next so nothing got missed. Would recommend for new learners or if you don’t have much confidence like I did!
