A New Chapter: Hanging Up the L-Plates
To all my past, present, and future drivers,

After 13 and a half wonderful years as a driving instructor, the time has come for me to officially retire at the end of August due to health issues.

Looking back over the years, it has been an absolute privilege to help so many of you take to the road. We’ve shared it all—the nerve-wracking first lessons, the triumphs, the occasional setbacks, and plenty of tears, laughter, and celebratory hugs along the way. I couldn’t have asked for a better group of learners.

I’m Still Here to Help!
While I am stepping back from full-time instruction, my passion for coaching hasn´t gone anywhere. If you have your own car and are looking for a bit of guidance, I am still available on a more informal basis to offer:

I started my lessons with Phil quite a few years ago but due to a change in my circumstances I didn’t continue. Years passed and I finally had the courage to message Phil to see if I could pick my lessons back up and was absolutely over the moon when he said yes. I honestly can’t thank him enough, an absolutely amazing driving instructor who adapts his learning techniques to each individual and their understanding. The love, care and commitment he has for teaching is outstanding and has the patience’s of a saint, his jokes and the laughs just made the lessons so much fun . I truly am gonna miss my lessons with him, not only is he a fantastic driving instructor, I’ve made a great friend too. If I can pass a few days after my 50th birthday anyone can and Phil is definitely the one to teach you.
