It´s not very often I receive a review from parents of the learners who I take for lessons.
I´ve received this amazing and wonderful review from Kristy, mum of Tom, who passed last week.

Well .. what can I say … Phil Shaw .. you are truly 100% A .. MAZE..ING .. I can’t recommend you enough for everything you have done . You are an absolute first class driving instructor.. 🚗
Phil has taught 3 of my children to drive so far and they all passed first time … yeyyyyyy I can’t tell you how proud I am of them all and that is all credit to Phil and down to his time and dedication at doing what he loves and enjoys and taking these youngsters under his wing and watching them grow in confidence behind the wheel and carrying them through this very important journey in their lives.
I am hoping he won’t have retired by the time my youngest son starts to learn. And if he has then I will be dragging him out of retirement to make it 4 out of 4 … ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Most importantly from the outset phil treated each of my children as individuals and adapted to their way of learning as they are all very different and learn in different ways . Phil took the time to get to know them and he showed a keen genuine interest in them as people and has become a real friend of the family now not just ‘ their driving instructor’
Phil gave feedback after each lesson and pointers and advice as to what to work on in a friendly and positive and professional manner .
Phil encouraged and made them all feel at ease and we knew we could contact him over any queries we ever had .
I would recommend Phil over and over again .5 stars 🌟

Tom passed his driving test last week at the 1st attempt and has just sent me this fab review of his time spent learning with me. Thank you so much, it´s great ☺️👍
I couldn’t have asked for a better driving instructor than Phil, the perfect balance of being an instructor and your best mate. I would 100% recommend for any other person looking to learn how to drive. I don’t think anyone would be able to get my confidence up driving in such a short space of time quite like Phil did. He taught me all the skills needed to drive and made it very easy and had great references to remember them and even taught me a turn in the road which he didn’t even need to do but shows that he is willing to go above and beyond. I couldn’t recommend Phil highly enough and it was great to learn with him and was a real pleasure. Definitely 5 stars👍🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

On my first driving lesson with Phil, I was a nervous wreck to say the least, I had always been afraid of driving and the road but wanted to learn to further my career so bit the bullet. Each lesson, as I got to know Phil, I slowly grew more confident and secure. Phil is someone who sees his students as individuals, catering each lesson to how someone learns best and to their wants and needs. For example, I´m a visual learner so to help me understand the car controls better he broke each step into bullet points on each lesson review email. On a personal level, if I ever was struggling or going through a tough time he would always make sure to check in as he´s just an all round great person. He´ll even throw in a silly Dad joke here and there each lesson to keep us laughing! Without Phil I don´t believe I´d be the driver I am today, he´s helped me every step of the way and I couldn´t reccommend a better instructor. 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
