"I would highly recommend Phil to anyone wishing to learn to drive! He works very hard to ensure his learners feel confident when the time comes to take their test. With weekly handouts and lesson briefings after each lesson Phil makes it very clear where your strengths lie and what you need to work on to improve. " Choosing Phil to take driving lessons with was so easy, he is a calm, relaxed easy going guy who gets to know you as a person rather than just a number in his driving school.



After having 13 months of learning to drive, Phil eased me back onto the road, refreshing my memory and making all the lessons enjoyable.



He quickly picks up on your strengths and weaknesses, in time those weaknesses become your strengths.



I passed first time with Phil and recommend him to anyone who is looking to take lessons.

Where do I start? There are countless good things to say about ´Pass with Phil´ without a bad word to its name!

I first found out about Pass with Phil when I applied to take theory lessons during my first couple of weeks at college. It was about a month or two later that me and a friend took up the lessons provided and lo and behold, it was where I met ole Phil!



On our first driving lesson, I was very nervous with my anxiety going through the roof and Phil could see this due to my handling the car horribly down a fairly straight road in first gear! He didn´t tell me to ´shake it off´ or to ´try focus on something else´ but instead provided a sense of security that everything will be fine and nothing will go wrong as long as he was in the car besides me, he asked me to take my time and take deep breathes without rushing into it and it helped!

Phil is extremely good at his job and goes above and beyond his duty to help you succeed in driving. On any lesson he helps to break the nervousness and silence by distracting you and asking how you have been and what´s new in life before kicking straight into a lesson with you raring to go. Phil is extremely patient and doesn´t shout at all no matter how wrong you may go, he identifies your weak points (like a robot! 😉) and helps you learn to perfect them one by one. Phil also provides helpful handouts for you taking your theory test or driving test, these handouts contain very useful information about the road and the car itself (So go over them repeatedly because you´ll never hear the end of it!!!)

I would recommend Phil to absolutely anyone because let´s face it, he´s legend...wait for it...dary. Legendary!



To top all of that off, I would have to say "Thank you Phil for being a fantastic instructor, for boosting my confidence in driving, helping me pass both my Theory and Test and for having faith in me when I didn´t in myself. Y

Pass with Phil Driving School was recommended to me from a number of people. Phil calls round to the house before lessons to introduce himself and the car. The lessons are relaxed, a good laugh and nothing is rushed, allowing progress to be made at individual speeds making the experience more enjoyable.

Phil always emails a lesson briefing after every lesson, letting you know what went well, highlights areas to improve, a plan for your next lesson and home learning tasks via handouts on manoeuvres, road markings, etc.

The Theory Test Pro website was one of the most beneficial things for theory test preparation. It is a great help for highway code questions and hazard perception videos. Phil is able to keep track of your progress and suggest sections to focus on.

Phil is always contactable for any questions. I have loved every minute of learning to drive with Phil and I would recommend him to anyone wanting to learn to drive or improve their confidence behind the wheel. Phil teaches you drive, not just to pass a test.

I have known Phil since I was 6yrs old when he lived in France. I used to try and drown him in the



swimming pool; I am so glad I didn’t succeed as he would not have been able to help me pass both



my theory and practical driving tests first time.



Phil’s lessons are always fun and enjoyable, he is very friendly and funny, sometimes the



conversation can be completely random but this helps you to relax and makes the learning process



so much easier.



He is extremely patient and has a good way of correcting mistakes, always full of encouragement



and never critical.



Phil also took time out to help me with my theory prep and has an excellent theory help section on



his website.



After passing my test Phil took me on a motorway lesson as I was nervous about driving on a



motorway for the first time.



I chose Phil not just because he was a family friend but also because he has such an excellent



reputation and having been taught by him I now know why that is.



I would highly recommend Phil to any learner driver.
