A New Chapter: Hanging Up the L-Plates
To all my past, present, and future drivers,
After 13 and a half wonderful years as a driving instructor, the time has come for me to officially retire at the end of August due to health issues.
Looking back over the years, it has been an absolute privilege to help so many of you take to the road. We’ve shared it all—the nerve-wracking first lessons, the triumphs, the occasional setbacks, and plenty of tears, laughter, and celebratory hugs along the way. I couldn’t have asked for a better group of learners.
I’m Still Here to Help!
While I am stepping back from full-time instruction, my passion for coaching hasn´t gone anywhere. If you have your own car and are looking for a bit of guidance, I am still available on a more informal basis to offer:

´Passing my driving test with my Dad as my instructor was really good because I was treated the same as every other student, and it didn´t feel weird to actually be learning with my Dad. When I was in the car, he was my instructor just like with everybody else. I always felt safe and at ease and I learned only the best because he´s such a good instructor. I honestly couldn´t have passed my test if it wasn´t for him! The good thing is that even though I´m his daughter, he wasn´t afraid of telling me when I did something wrong and areas that I needed to work on, just like another student. Definitely the best instructor/Dad ever! Thanks for everything, we did it together and we passed.´

If anyone were to ask me to recommend them a driving instructor then I’d tell them to contact Phil straight away. From the day I had my first lesson, I knew that I was comfortable learning under Phil’s instruction and that I would be taught at a professional level. Phil is extremely friendly and is there whenever you need to ask him about anything. I have thoroughly enjoyed driving with Phil and the excellent instruction I received was shown through my great result in my driving test. Phil has been an amazing driving instructor! I couldn´t of asked for anyone better.. he is so caring and would always drop me a text asking how i was during the week (which was nice) He made me feel at ease throughout every lesson and especially on the day of my test! I cant thank you enough Phil!! He gave me so much confidence with driving right from the beginning until right to the end and i really do appreciate it thank you so so much again Phil for everything you have done with me , i couldn´t of done it without you!

Cheers for everything Phil, I appreciate everything you have done for me, I honestly don’t think that I could have done half as good or passed my test first time if I had learnt with another driving instructor. Phil, I can´t thank you enough for how much you´ve helped me over these past 4 months. It´s been an absolute amazing experience and I wouldn´t have wanted to experience it with anyone else.
