A New Chapter: Hanging Up the L-Plates
To all my past, present, and future drivers,

After 13 and a half wonderful years as a driving instructor, the time has come for me to officially retire at the end of August due to health issues.

Looking back over the years, it has been an absolute privilege to help so many of you take to the road. We’ve shared it all—the nerve-wracking first lessons, the triumphs, the occasional setbacks, and plenty of tears, laughter, and celebratory hugs along the way. I couldn’t have asked for a better group of learners.

I’m Still Here to Help!
While I am stepping back from full-time instruction, my passion for coaching hasn´t gone anywhere. If you have your own car and are looking for a bit of guidance, I am still available on a more informal basis to offer:

Phil, has been the best driving instructor - Whenever a mistake was made, he told me it was a way of becoming a better driver and explained everything in such a simple way. I’ve gained so much confidence as a person over the time i’ve been learning, i’ve enjoyed every second of every lesson and i can’t believe they’re over after such a journey. What can I say about Phil,
Let’s start with how he made me as comfortable as possible during lessons, and assured me every time that everything was a learning curve when I made a mistake, he made me believe I’d do well, I’ve grown up with anxiety problems, and trouble being around new people and thanks to Phil I’ve gained confidence, freedom and independence And gained a friend along the way. He’s been the best, and the most patient person I’ve met, and thanks to his level of patience I passed my test with no minors!! He’s been absolutely amazing!! And I’m sad our lessons are over! But I’ll see you soon for tea and cake 🙂 thank you for everything!
